UI UX Design
The GentleKids app is an educational tool designed for children aged 4-9, using advanced technology to enhance parent-child relationships and nurture good conduct, manners, respect, and interpersonal skills. It offers tailored learning materials, interactive missions, and effective feedback, helping children develop confidence, politeness, and diligence.
Problem
In the daily reports and discussions about the GentleKids app, several problems were identified that frustrate users. The main pain point for parent users is the app's difficulty in usability, particularly in assigning missions to their children and switching to the child interface. For child users, a lack of learner motivation and engagement is also noted.
Goal
To address the above issues, a proposal was made for redesigning the product, reorganizing the information architecture, and adding new features to enhance the overall user experience. Additionally, the app was to be redesigned to "make it fun" in order to increase downloads of the GentleKids app. The goal was to create an easy-to-use, interactive, and edutainment learning and parenting app for both parents and children.

An artificial intelligence chatbot is incorporated into the learning process to engage users in a unique way.
Smart Kids Challenge - Game Zone
Gamification elements is introduced to motivate kids to reach the app more as well as help them to enhance their learning experience.
Story Corner
A session "Story Corner" is created for child users to learn moral education by reading short stories.
GentleKids is an educational platform, creates a moral educational app for parents and kids with advanced technologies (AI), aimed to inspire Kindergarten to Primary school kids to grow in a good direction. It also acts as a platform to provide parenting information.
